Imphal, May 11 2024: Dry Tears, a short film directed by Khwairakpam Bishwamitra was released in a function held at Rupmahal Theatre, BT Road, here, on Saturday.

Art and culture commissioner Mongjam Joy and Manipur Film Journalists and Critics' Association president AC Netrajit attended the occasion as dais members.

Speaking at the occasion, M Joy remarked that the film carries several societal messages and prompts viewers to ponder over important questions.

He expressed confidence that the audience would be eager to share their thoughts and opinions after watching the film.

Following the screening, a critical analysis session was conducted to delve deeper into the themes and narrative of the 22-minute-long film.
