Association vows stir till DPC results declared

Imphal, August 08 2025: The Association of Contractual Staff of ICDS Mission (2016 Batch) has announced that it will continue to agitate until results of the Special DPC for contractual recruitment under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) and POSHAN Abhiyaan are declared.

The Special DPC for contractual recruitment under the Social Welfare Department's Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Scheme was conducted in November 2022 with the results yet to be announced.

On Friday, members of the association staged a protest near the gate of the Social Welfare Department at North AOC, demanding immediate declaration of the DPC results.

Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the protest, association general secretary Maibam Rameshchandra pointed out that repeated appeals have been made to the authorities concerned to declare the DPC results.

However, with no response forthcoming, the association has resolved to launch state-wide agitations starting Saturday.

He further urged the authorities to release the pending performance based honorarium for 133 contractual staff who had participated in the Special DPC and served under the ICDS Mission from 2016 to November 2017 .
