AR celebrates National Science Day

Tamenglong, February 28 2025: Reaffirming its dedication to education and scientific advancement, Assam Rifles commemorated National Science Day 2025 in Tamenglong and Noney districts on Friday.

The celebration highlighted the role of science and technology in addressing modern-day challenges, and also emphasised the importance of cultivating a scientific mindset for nation-building.

The events included a science project competition on the theme 'Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science & Innovation for Viksit Bharat at Apou Kading School, Tamei sub-division under Tamenglong district which saw participation from a total of 48 students and teachers.

Additionally, in Khongsang village of Noney district, a poster-making competition marked the occasion with participation of 30 students and teachers from JR Memorial English School.

Both the competitions were evaluated by a panel of local school teachers and prizes awarded to the winners.

Participants demonstrated their understanding of scientific concepts and showcased their artistic and intellectual abilities through their projects.
