Awareness programme on parenting conducted

Imphal, June 27 2022: Centre for Social Development (CSD), Leimaram Waroiching Meira Paibi and Waroiching Youth Development Club jointly organised an awareness programme on "role and responsibilities of parents in shaping the society for the future of the children" at Leimaram Waroiching community hall on Monday.

In a release, CSD senior project manager Babycha Mangsatabam informed that the programme was attended by Irengbam Gram Panchayat up-pradhan Mutum Sanatomba, Nambol Apunba Lup secretary L Premila, social worker Maibam Manglemba, WARIAS secretary Thongam Subhas, Zilla Parishad (Keinou) Ningthoujam Somananda and WAD secretary Sobita Mangsatabam as the presidium members.

As resource persons of the programme, WARIAS secretary Subhas delivered lecture on "The increasing numbers of drug users and its impacts in the future of Manipur", UNMM secretary U Nobokishore on "Overall scenario of Manipur and the fate of our future generation and how to overcome the crisis", L Premila on "The activities of Meira Paibi in various issues of the state and drug trends and its impact on the young and energetic youths of Manipur" and Sobita Mangsatabam on "The emerging issues of women and children" .
