Imphal, January 29 2025: Kongba Uchekon Khunou Yoga Centre, Imphal East on Wednesday felicitated its athletes and officials who representing the state as part of Manipur Yogasana Society team and won the runners-up title of the 36th National Yogasana Championship 2024-25 held at Minapur, West Bengal from January 17 to 19 .

During the felicitation programme held at Rainbow Educational and Sports Organisation office, Kongba, athletes and officials including Huidrom Angou (gold medal), Kshetrimayum Sovharani (gold), Aribam Seitabati Devi (silver), Longjam Sanatombi and Laishram Surbala were honoured with presentation of simple gifts.

The state team had won six gold, seven silver and seven bronze medals in the Championship.

The felicitation programme was attended by Uchekon Nongpok GP pradhan Nongmaithem Jadumani as chief guest, Dr Konsham Basanta and Kshetrimayum Joy as guests of honour and Kongba Uchekon Khunou Yoga Centre instructor Chanam Paipak Meitei as the functional president.
