Imphal, December 20 2010:
Fifty-three surrendered cadres of KCP (MC) Lallumba group who had undergone vocational training at Pune will be brought back to Imphal soon.
However, there is still uncertainty over where the surrendered cadres of the outfit would be kept.
According to a reliable source, preparations were being made to bring the 53 cadres who have completed vocation training to Imphal yesterday.
But it has been deferred.
Nonetheless, they would be brought to Imphal very soon.
Thirty-seven other cadres who have successfully undergone similar vocational training earlier are currently staying in 7 MR complex at Khabeisoi.
The new cadres who will be arriving from Pune are also likely to be kept in the same MR complex temporarily.
It may be noted here that the State Govt was planning to set up a camp of the surrendered cadres of KCP (MC) Lallumba group at 8 MR complex at Leikun in Chandel district.
Following strong objection from the local people, the Govt is yet to decide on a new site.
