Security forces arrest six cadres of KCP group

Imphal, February 21 2025: A combined team of Imphal West district police and central forces arrested six cadres of the armed KCP (Ibungo Ngangom) from a church premises at Koutruk Makha Leikai under Lamsang police station on Friday around 6.20 am.

According to police, the six captives are Mutum Leishemba alias Pari (25) son of M Irabot of Lamdeng Khunou; Shirimayum Suraj Sharma alias Lion (24) son of late Sh Abui of Khongman Zone I; Ningthoukhongjam Khedasana alias Naoba (29) son of N Nilamani of Lamsang Thongmang; Senjam Yaiphaba alias Malan (19) son of S Ningthou of Touthong Khunou, Lamsang; Laishram Leishemba alias Malem (26) son of L Raghumani of Phumlou Mamang Leikai; and Laishram Kenedy alias Thouna (32) son of L Jadumani of Lamdeng Makha Leikai.
