Imphal, April 06 2025: Assam Rifles,in collaboration with Hope Hall Defence Academy, Churachandpur organised a career guidance programme on commissioned service in the Indian Army and the Agniveer Scheme at Rayburn College,.

According to PRO IGAR (S), the objective of the programme was to familiarise students with career opportunities in the Indian Army as commissioned officers, as well as to provide information on various entry schemes.

The event had the participation of 120 cadets and students from the 14th Manipur NCC Battalion, Rayburn College and Don Bosco College, all from Churachandpur district.

The programme included screening of motivational videos along with a detailed briefing on the Agniveer Scheme for enrolment into the Indian Army.

Furthermore, information kiosks were established to assist students with the registration process for the Agniveer Scheme, the PRO informed.
