Manipur State Power Companies (MSPCL & MSPDCL) Employees' Association (MSPCEA) has appealed to authority concerned not to impose frequent load shedding in the interest of the students appearing in the examinations conducted by BSEM and CoHSEM .
In a press release issued Friday, MSPCEA general secretary Soibam Binita Devi said that Manipur had been facing frequent power cuts over the last few days.
However, the staff on duty at the sub-stations are often blamed by the infuriated masses for the power cuts.
Amid this, students appearing in the examinations conducted by BSEM and CoHSEM are even more dissatisfied.
The frequent power cuts are affecting all aspects of the society, she asserted.
Appealing to the authority concerned to take all of the issues into consideration, she urged for ensuring regular power supply to ensure a stable development of the state.
