Three HSLCE, seven HSE candidates expelled

Imphal, February 21 2025: Three student candidates of the on-going High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLCE) conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BoSEM) and seven of Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) have been barred from further appearance in the said examinations on the charge of impersonation.

In a notification issued by BoSEM on Friday, two candidates appearing HSLC examination, 2025 at St Joseph's Hr Sec School, Kuraopokpi and one at MG Evergreen High School, Pallel were expelled for impersonation.

On the other hand, COHSEM confirmed expulsion of seven Arts stream candidates appearing HSE-2025 at Nongpok Maheikol examination centre located at Brahmapur Aribam Leikai on Thursday for impersonation.

Further, they are debarred from appearing Higher Secondary Examination for two consecutive years (2026 and 2027), the order added.
