Free dental health camp for IDPs organised

Kakching, May 11 2024: A Free Dental Health Camp for internally displaced persons (IDPs) of Sugnu and Kumbi assembly constituencies, who are taking shelter in a relief camp set up at Khomdonbi Memorial English School, Kakching Khunou was organised at Ibudhou Khamlangba community hall, Kakching Khunou on Saturday.

The camp jointly organised by Indian Dental Association (IDA) Manipur State Branch; Dental College, RIMS, Imphal and Development Committee, Kakching Khunou, which is running the said relief camp, was participated by 50 doctors and staff from Dental College, RIMS, Imphal who treated around 200 IDPs from Serou, Sugnu & Wapokpi under Sugnu AC and Napat, Tengjeng Ahallup under Kumbi AC using Dental Mobile Van along with providing medicines.

Speaking in connection with the dental camp, Committee's convener M Ratan expressed his gratitude for holding the camp, while adding that more such health camps should be conducted for the IDPs.
