EPFO launches recovery drive

Imphal, March 08 2025: The Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India has launched its annual routine recovery drive throughout the country for the period from January, 2025 to March, 2025 .

A release issued by EPFO Special State Office Imphal has advised all the defaulting employers and establishments to clear their respective outstanding dues without any further delay.

"Every year, before the financial year closes, EPFO, as a policy matter, has to resort to MP Act, 1952 to recover the dues from the defaulting establishments and employers.

All such defaulter employers have been issued the Revenue Recovery Certificates either in the name of the establishment or the owner.

The employers or defaulting even after reminders have been served are once again reminded to clear their outstanding dues to avoid the coercive actions", it added.
