Kakching, May 19 2024: The 488th edition of Special Sunday organised every Sunday by Library & Information Centre, Kakching was held at the centre's auditorium in Kakching Phousupat Leikai, on Sunday.

During the function, an interaction programme with students was facilitated with M Molightson Kanshouwa of Khudei Khullen Village, Tengnoupal, who cleared the UPSC-conducted civil services exam in 870th position; HSE commerce stream topper Aiena Naorem; science stream 3rd position holder Sania Mayanglambam; 9th position holder Mangte Manghoikim Kom; 11th position holder Likla Nongmaithem; and 14th position holder Menaka Huidrom.

The function was also attended by ex-minister Nongmaithem Nimai, Kakching Higher Secondary School principal Naorem Nomita Devi, vice principal Nongmaithem Sunita, former principal Moirangthem Rameshwar, Commerce subject lecturer Y Sumita, M Molightson's parents Angkha and D Muining as guests while Library and Information Centre executives Yambem Satya Singh, Naorem Nopur Singh, Mayanglambam Kunjakesho and Kshetrimayum Tomchou were the presidium members.
