DM University celebrates 7th foundation day

Imphal, April 06 2025: The 7th foundation day of Dhanamanjuri University was held at the auditorium of DM College of Commerce, here, on Sunday.

Speaking as chief guest of the function, DM University vice chancellor professor W Chandbabu pointed out the need to properly fence the university campus and ensure adequate security to create a peaceful environment.

Only then, he stated, will students and teachers be able to carry out their responsibilities effectively.

"There are many things that need to be done to further improve the university," he said, adding that one of the key priorities is to elevate the university to global standard.

To achieve this, he stressed the need to develop the university's infrastructure and strengthen its security.

Only then will students and faculty have the opportunity to excel, perform their duties effectively, and contribute meaningfully to the university's global advancement, reiterated the vice chancellor.

He also highlighted the importance of properly implementing the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.Eminent filmmaker Aribam Syam Sharma, DM University former vice chancellor H Deleep Singh, M Harekrishna, professor N Rajmuhon and H Gyan Prakash were also present as presidium members.
