KDBA founder members, winners feted

Kakching, April 06 2025: A felicitation function was organised at Kakching Lamdong on Sunday for founder members (Managing Committee) of Kakching District Badminton Association (KDBA) formerly Thoubal District Badminton Association and Association's players who won medals in Various tournaments.

The programme was attended by Youth Affairs and Sports (YAS) secretary Naorem Praveen Singh as chief guest, KDBA president Naorem Britain as president and Kakching District Olympic Association president Kshetrimayum Dharmadas as guest of honour.

As part of the event, two minutes' silence was observed in memory of departed founders, including first president Naorem Giridhari, vice president Naorem Ibopishak, members M Thoiba and W Mani.

Gifts were also presented to first managing committee secretary Naorem Priyokumar, treasurer Pukhrambam Raghu, members Salam Harichandra, Mayanglambam Sanaton, N Mohendro, Y Surjit and Y Mohendro at the function along with various badminton tournament winners Pukhrambam Romesh Singh, Pukhrambam Krishnakumar, L Dinesh, Kshetrimayum Jiteshwar, Moirangthem Magho, Rashithoi Ningthoujam, Elangbam Thoihenbi, Kshetrimayum Adriana and Naorem Shakira Devi.
