Drawing competition held for displaced children

Imphal, March 24 2024:
Change for Better Manipur (CFBM) organised a drawing competition at Akampat relief camp on Sunday for the displaced children with the objective to provide healing touch to violence-affected kids with Imphal East SDO Jotin Singh presiding over the competition.
According to CFBM founder Dimbeshwar Sharma, the competition was aimed at distracting the children from the hardships of their lives and impact of the crisis.
He thanked Imphal East DC Khumanthem Diana, Social Welfare director Ng Uttam and SDO Jotin for their support to the competition conducted in two categories -class 6 to 10 under the theme 'Every war is war against children', and for class 3 to 5 under the theme 'My Home' .
For Category 1, Poknapham and The People's Chronicle sponsored the first prize of Rs 5000, Nirmal Foundation the second prize of Rs 4000, and Fenyson Wangkheimayum of Wangkhhei the third prize of Rs 3000 .
For Category 2, the first prize of Rs 4000 was sponsored by Eramdma E-pao, second prize of Rs 3000 by RK Ichanthoi, and 3rd prize of Rs 2000 by Social Media Admin Association's (SAAM) admin Wang Nongthombam.
In Category 1, Tongbram Inzali Chanu (Alpha BCI -class IX) daughter of T Anil of Moreh, Keisham Deniver (Success School - Class IX) daughter of Francis Keisham of Churachandpur Mandop Leikai, and Konthoujam Wangoo (Eastern Ideal High School - Class IX) son of K Tomba of Moreh Khunou Leikai ward no 9 won the top three position respectively.
In Category 2, Nongthombam Lockiya Devi (Nongpok Maheikol - Class V) daughter of N Ingo of Moreh Heinoumakhong ward no 7, Toijam Thoiba (Maichou Khongnangthaba Maheikol - Class IV) daughter of Toijam Suresh of Moreh Turel Wangma ward no 7, and Khumanthem Mangai (Maichou Khongnangthhaba Maheikol - Class IV) son of Kh Ramananda of Churachandpur Thengra Leirak won the first, second and third position respectively.
