Mental Health awareness programme held

Kakching, November 18 2021:
State Mental Health Programme- State Health Mission Society, National Health Mission Manipur and District Mental Health Programme-District Health Society Kakching jointly organised a one day awareness programme on mental health at Pallel High School on Thursday.
District Mental Health Programme -District Health Society Kakching District Nodal Officer and PHC Pallel MO in-charge Dr Khangembam Gopeshwar, State Mental Health Programme State Nodal Officer Dr Ronita Athokpam, District Mission director/Chief Medical Officer Kakching Dr Thaodem Rajen, Pallel High School assistant headmaster Kshetrimayum Nilachand and District Hospital Chandel psychiatric Dr Kh Robindro attended the event as presidium members.
Clinical Psychologists Konsanicha Kishorchand and Sagolshem Samananda spoke as resource persons of the programme attended by Class IX and X students of Pallel High School.
Speaking at the function, DnRonita Athokpam highlighted that a person would not be healthy without good mental health.
As such, keeping our mental health healthy is a must.
Pointing out that 11 to 19 years of age is a period of uncertainty and is an important junction for choosing the aims of life; she highlighted the need to keep physical and mental health healthy.
