Training on livestock diseases held

Imphal, February 21 2025:
A one-day training on 'Economically Important Livestock Diseases' organised by the Directorate of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Services under 'Assistance to States for Control of Animal Diseases' (ASCAD) was held at the farmers' training hall of the directorate office near Sanjenthong, here, on Friday.
The training programme organised for veterinary officers, was attended by veterinary and animal husbandry services director Dr RK Khogendrajit, joint director (administration) Dr L Arunkumar, joint director (planning) Dr L Gojen, senior assistant officer Selina Thounaojam and joint directors of different districts.
State Veterinary Hospital superintendent Dr Latasana spoke on 'Bio-security measures of ASF', cattle specialist Dr Kh Mrinalini on 'Importance of Mastitis in dairy cattle', poultry specialist Dr Indira Naorem on 'Different common bacterial diseases and their treatment', and deputy director Dr Milan Manoharmayum on 'Cold chain maintenance of various livestock vaccine, schedule of vaccination' .
