Kakching, July 14 2024: Under the aegis of Union Ministry of Education's Department of Education and Literacy, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Sandumba AchoUba Umathel in collaboration with Kakching ZEO organised District Level Prerana Utsav (An Experimental Learning Programme) at the school on Saturday.

As part of the programme, 49 students of class IX to XII from 25 schools participated in various competitions including drawing/painting, essay writing, poem writing, dancing, singing, folk song, martial arts, Thang-Ta, monologue, Nat Sankirtana, etc.

Speaking to media persons in connection with event, JNV principal Adode Ga nesh Madhavrao informed that of the student participants, 30 will be shortlisted for personality test out of which one each boy and one girl will be finally selected to represent the district in a weeklong Experimental Learning Programme to be held in Vadnagar, Gujarat.

Meanwhile, class X student Sarungbam Ngangoileima (dance) of Elangbam Keinya HighSchool, Elangkhanpokpi and class XII student Palin Oinam (Thang-Ta) of JNV Umathel have been selected for the Gujarat competition.
