Thoubal, March 08 2025: Manipur State Co-operative Bank Limited along with NABARD, Imphal and VEDSCO Khangabok jointly organised a one-day financial literacy awareness programme at Khangabok Khunou Leikai community hall on Saturday.

The awareness programme was attended by Thoubal DC A Subhash, VEDSCO Khagabok president N Doren, MSCB Imphal AGM Tarakeshwori Devi, MSCB Thoubal branch manager N Rameshwor and MSRLM Thoubal branch cluster coordinator Th Bikramjit among others.

Speaking at the event, Thoubal DC A.Subhash urged the public to develop the habit of saving money in banks.

He emphasised the importance of financial literacy, particularly among women, as they manage household finances.

Regarding the benefits, he reminded that saving money in the bank could help them earn interest on their savings.
