Pre-recruitment training conducted

Assam Rifles on Wednesday organised a pre-recruitment training programme in Chandel district to prepare young boys and girls for careers in the Indian Armed Forces.
Participants who appeared for the Agnipath Scheme Common Entrance Test in May 2024 received expert guidance and mentorship.
The successful candidates included Kengton Hudson from Lamkhang Khunou, Ringthol Tarao from Komlathabi, and BS Amisha from Charangching village.
These candidates are now being mentored for their upcoming physical and medical tests, enhancing their chances of success in the recruitment process, said PRO IGAR (S) in a release.
Earlier on June 3, 2024, Assam Rifles organised an interaction with ex-servicemen from Bishnupur district at Sendra.
The meeting aimed to address the challenges faced by ex-servicemen and explore welfare measures.
Discussions covered security concerns, socio-economic development projects, and job opportunities for youth, including Agniveer and sports quota entries in the Army.
The ex-servicemen pledged their support to Assam Rifles, promising to work together for the welfare and uplift of society during challenging times, the release added.
