Imphal, December 27 2024: North America Manipur Association (NAMA) and Research Institute of Science & Technology (RIST), Manipur organised the distribution ceremony of Dr A Surjalal Sharma Memorial Grant Award at Manipur University Department of Physics conference hall on Friday.

The awards were handed over to MU Department of Physics research scholar Mairembam Kelvin Singh and Department of History research scholar Somi Raikhan.

The awards included Rs 50,000 cash and certificate.

The awards distribution ceremony was attended by Manipur University vice chancellor Prof N Lokend-ra, Wayne State University, Michigan USA Prof Lalit Pukhrambam, DM University former vice chancellor Prof N Rajmuhon, MU School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences dean Prof Sumi-tra Phanjoubam and School of Life Sciences dean Prof Debananda Ningthoujam as presidium members.
