Shija conducts health camp at Thanga

Imphal, February 28 2025:
Shija Hospitals & Research Institute (SHRI), in association with Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) and All Thanga Meira Paibi Apunba Nupi Lup, successfully con ducted a Free Health Camp at Thanga Chinglak community hall, in Bishnupur district on Friday.
The camp was aimed at providing quality healthcare services to the local community, and ensuring access to essential medical care for those in need.
According to a SHRI release, more than 745 Thanga denizens attended the camp and availed free consultations from a team of experienced consultants of Shija Hospitals, representing various specialties, including Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, and Dental.
During the camp, patients benefited from expert consultations; diagnosis, and treatment guidance.
Additionally, free medicines were distributed to ensure continuity of care beyond the camp.
The initiative underscores Shija Hospitals' commitment to providing high-quality, customer-focused healthcare services while extending its care to underserved regions.
The camp was coordinated by the dedicated teams from Shija Hospitals' Business Development and Public Relations Departments, said the release.
It also extended heartfelt gratitude to DESAM and All Thanga Meira Paibi Apunba Nupi Lup for their collaboration in making the camp a success.
The hospital remains dedicated to conducting more such outreach programs to bridge the healthcare accessibility gap and serve the people of Manipur, added the release.
