State team Delhi-bound for Youth Parliament

Imphal, April 01 2025: The top three winners of the state level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament competition on Monday left for New Delhi, where the national level competition would be held at Parliament House, on Wednesday and Thursday.

The winners are Lepsopthei Kasar of Ukhrul district, who secured 237 marks out of the total 300, Kumari Lakshmi Singh Yadav of Imphal West (236 marks) and Chingangbam Yaiphabi Chanu of Imphal East district (231 marks) .

In a release, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan state director L Marjitkumar informed that Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, will organise the 'Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament' with support of the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, NSS, universities/colleges.

In the state level com petition held at Manipur University court hall, all speakers were given time of three minutes on the motion '75 years of Indian constitution: A journey of right, and progress' or 'The 11 Sankalp of Sam-vidhan Divas: A pledge to strengthen Indians constitutional values' .

The Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament will be participated by the select speakers from all the states and union territories of India, it continued, while wishing the team a grand success in their future endeavours.
