AR facilitates Agniveer registration

Imphal, April 10 2025:
Assam Rifles launched Agniveer Registration and Pre-Recruitment Drive across Manipur to support and empower the youth aspiring to join the Indian Army under the Agnipath Scheme.
In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that in the Imphal Valley, AR set up assistance centres at AR location in Nambol, Komlakhong and Sangaithel to provide comprehensive support including eligibility clarifications and assistance with online registration.
So far 40 youths have registered for the scheme.
Simultaneously, Agniveer registration support counter was established at Modi village, Chandel district on Thursday to facilitate students from remote areas access digital infrastructure.
Around 20 youths participated in this one-day initiative, receiving hands-on assistance with the online application process, including documentation, it added.
The Indian Army has extended the deadline for Agniveer online registration to April 24 .
Applicants must have passed Class 10 (for general duty) or Class 12 (for technical and clerk/store keeper roles) .
Female aspirants meeting the educational criteria are eligible to apply for the Corps of Military Police, explained the PRO .
