LNKR holds assembly-cum-seminar

Liangmai Naga Kati-mai Ruangdi (LNKR), Manipur organised its 2nd Union Assembly cum Seminar on Thursday and Friday at Nkou Nhang village, Tamenglong district, with Nkou Nhang Students' Union and Nkou Nhang Village Authority co-hosting the programme.
A statement of LNKR informed that during the assembly, Union president Mathiuchunbou Rimai highlighted the challenges and issues it faced as assembly reinstated its stand of riot compromising in any education-related activities and emphasised the health sector as its main priority.
LNKR tribunal general Tennyson Marianmai spoke on the role and responsibilities of leadership, and encouraged continued team-work with transparency, accountability, and integrity while former president Nk Job discussed about the customary procedure of Liangmai, and urged the youth to upkeep the tradition of the forefathers and strengthen the customary laws.
Nkou Nhang VA chairman N Wilung, and Nkou Nhang Students' Union president Nk Masenwangbou appreciated LNKR's services of humanity to the people.
Church leaders, village authority members, and youth attended the assembly cum seminar.
Nkou Nhang Baptist Church pastor Dr Robin Pamai blessed the delegates and all the unit representatives, the statement added.
