TYCM resolves to assist ACTSUI in education related issues

Imphal, April 05 2025: The Tribal Youth Council Manipur (TYCM), General Headquarters, held a joint meeting with the executive members of the All Colleges Tribal Students' Union, Imphal (ACTSUI) on at 1 pm at TYCM Office, Imphal.

As per a press release, the meeting discussed and deliberated on a range of issues affecting the tribal communities.

Following a constructive exchange of views, TYCM and ACTSUI reached a mutual understanding to extend cooperation and support to one another whenever tribal issues arise, with the shared goal of safeguarding tribal rights and interests.

As part of the understanding, TYCM committed to assisting ACTSUI on education-related issues concerning the tribal communities of Manipur.

TYCM's education in-charge Thangmeingam Awungshi will coordinate with ACTSUI in this regard.

The ACTSUI delegation, comprising five executive members, was led by its president Rachuipem Horam.

The meeting was presided over by TYCM president Momo Tantanga.
