Pambei-led UNLF condoles demise of cadre

The Pambei-led United National Liberation Front (UNLF) and its armed wing Manipur People's Party (MPA) deeply condoled the untimely demise of private Thingnam Chamba alias Jiter and extended revolutionary honour to the freedom fighter.
According to a statement of Pambei-led UNLF, Thingnam Chamba suffered bullet injury due to misfire of his own rifle while performing duty at Marjing Battalion of the outfit recently and succumbed to injury at a hospital on March 22, 2024 at about 11.56 pm.
The statement issued by media coordinator Charairongba Thokchom said private Chamba was born as last of the four children of Thingnam Tenden and Sarangthem Memcha of Umathel Awang Leikai, Kakching district on March 13, 2001 .
He joined UNLF in 2023 and completed Basic Military Training of MPA in the 52nd batch on September 11, 2023.After completion of training, Chamba was allotted MPA service No 2914 and posted at Marjing Battalion of MPA's 1st Brigade.
Private Chamba took part in many battles against the enemy including at Khamenlok and he never hesitated to execute responsibility handed by the party.
