Class X, XII exam appeared students feted

Thoubal, May 19 2024: Along with conducting a career counselling programme, Rural Development Association, Sabantongba Awang Leikai felicitated students of Sabantongba Ward No 3, who appeared in the class X and XII examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BoSEM) and Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (CoHSEM) respectively, in a function at the local community hall, on Sunday.

The function was attended by social scientist Dr Dhanabir Laishram, Thoubal Municipal Council Sabantongba Ward No 13 caretaker councillor Sanasam Ibotombi Singh and Thoubal College political science head Sanasam Iboyai Singh as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Delivering the keynote address, Rural Development Association general secretary Jagadishchandra Hawaibam emphasised that all students, regardless of their academic performances, are the future pillars of society.

To encourage and support every student in pursuing their academic goals, the felicitation cum career counselling session was organised for all the students of Sabantongba Ward No 3, irrespective of whether they excelled in the exams or did not pass at all.

The programme is specifically aimed at instilling confidence among the students and helping them follow the right path.
