KYC launches coaching programme at relief camp

Imphal, April 10 2025: With the aim of providing educational support to students, Kanglei Yelhou Cheingak (KYC) launched a six-month coaching class at Langol Alternate Housing Complex relief camp, National Game Village, Langol Zone III from Thursday.

In a release, KYC informed that the coaching class was inaugurated by its president Nongthombam Sanahal Singh in the presence of education in-charge of the relief camp Thangjam Achouba and others.

Noting that the unrest situation has been disrupting students' education and pointing out that the coaching class is specifically aimed at addressing the problem by engaging experienced teachers taking shelter in the relief camp, Sanahal assured to conduct the classes beyond the six months' timeframe in case the students are found to be struggling, academically.
