Ukhrul, March 24 2024:
Ministry of Information & Publicity, Government of the Peoples' Republic of Nag-alim/National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN/GPRN) has come out strongly against a viral article, calling it a piece outrageously manufactured with malicious intention.
In a statement issued Sunday, the MIP, NSCN/GPRN stated that the viral article titled 'Naga politics in Manipur decoded' was outrageously manufactured with malicious intention knowing that crazy write-up with lies and conspiracies spread more rapidly than facts through social media.
It added that the slanderous viral article was manufactured in the "factory of lies and fabrications" using a fictitious name Abraham Naga.
"No wonder this monstrous "factory of lies and fabrications" is notorious for making blatant attempt to manipulate Naga people's opinion against NSCN in general and Longvibu in particular by spreading the market of pessimism and distrust and bring about confusion and polarisation in order to damage the sanctity of God's covenant with the Naga people," it pointed out.
While strongly condemning the pervasive viral article targeting the Longvibu of Naga Army, the MIP stated that while forces/agencies against Naga political solution have taken undue advantage of the changing media landscape, using the social media platforms to stoke the fire of fear and anxiety and divide the Nagas against itself, no NSCN leaders would stoop to the level as made to believe by the fabricated viral article that has floated on social media platforms.
"In future NSCN would not condone such defamatoiy viral writing under fictitious names, but will go deep into it and dig out the bona fide identity.
This is our last and final warning," it cautioned.
Under the given situation, the reassuring words from NSCN are "The Naga political issue is something sacrosanct and the way to defend it is to be proactive with God fearing approach", the MIP added.
