Training, workshop for teachers begins

Imphal, April 10 2025: A two-day training-cum-workshop for teachers on the theme "Teacher Development Programme on Life Skills Education" commenced on Thursday at Herbert School, Changangei.

The programme is being jointly organised by Centre for Professional Excellence and Lifelong Learning (CPELL) of Kristu Jayanti College, Bengaluru, and Herbert School.

The first day had Dr Jonas Richard, director of the Centre for Life Skills Education, and Vigraanth Bapu KG, programme coordinator from the Department of Psychology, Kristu Jayanti College, as the resource persons.

Speaking at the event, Herbert principal Dr K Nabachandra pointed out the importance of understanding the evolving education system and modern teaching methodologies.

In line with the vision, the school has been regularly organising training sessions and workshops for teachers by engaging experts from various fields.

As a result of these initiatives, the school has consistently produced top-performing students in the higher secondary examinations, he said.
