AR inaugurates Multipurpose Community Hall in Kamjong

Imphal, March 10 2025: Assam Rifles dedicated a newly constructed Community Hall to the village authorities of Kachoubung-K in Kamjong District, Manipur.

According to a release issued by the IGAR (South), the project constructed under Operation Sadbhavna, aims to provide the local community with a well-equipped space for social, cultural, and administrative activities.

The Community Hall was constructed to serve as a central hub to aid the residents to organize public meetings, cultural programs, and social gatherings.

The facility will also play a crucial role in disaster response, welfare initiatives, and developmental planning for the village.

With limited infrastructure in remote areas, this initiative is expected to significantly improve community engagement and connectivity.

The community hall inauguration witnessed wholehearted participation of the local population & prominent personalities including the five village chiefs of the region.

The village authorities and community members extended their heartfelt appreciation for this noble initiative, said the IGAR (South) .
