KVS DC, Tinsukia Region visits KV Langjing and KV Lamphelpat

Deputy Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Tinsukia Region Taorem Pritam Singh visited KV No 2 CRPF Langjing and KVNo 1 Lamphelpat, Imphal on April 5 and 3 respectively.
During his visit at KV Langjing, he interacted with students and staff, highlighting the school's achievements and motivating further excellence.
Pritam Singh felicitated Jiber Yumnam, who won a gold medal at the KVS National Sports Meet, Jhansi and a silver medal at the SGFI Taekwondo Championship in Dewas (MP) in 2024, with a cash prize of Rs 22,000 .
He also congratulated Simonson Wangkhem (Class XI) who secured a bronze medal at the 53rd KVS National Sports Meet in Bengaluru, receiving a cash prize of Rs 5000 for his Taekwondo achievement.
The Deputy Commissioner also held discussions with Anil Kumar Bharadwaj, Chairman of the Vidyalaya Management Committee (VMC) and DIGP, GC CRPF Langjing, regarding the construction of a permanent school building.
He met with the Executive Engineer of CPWD.
At KV Lamphelpat, his visit was marked by a series of interactions with the school's staff, students and construction officials.
The Deputy Commissioner, who is also an alumnus of KV No 1 Imphal, began his visit by addressing the morning assembly.
He met with the officials of CPWD, the agency responsible for the ongoing construction of the permanent building and infrastructure of the school.
He emphasized the urgency of completing the construction work within the stipulated time frame.
Later, he interacted with Class XII students.
In the final leg of his visit, he interacted with the staff of the Vidyalaya, discussing key issues related to both academic and non-academic welfare.
