Imphal, January 23 2026: The Manipur State Power Company Limited (MSPCL) has informed all concerned that the 33kV Kongba-Khuman (D/C mini-tower) HT Line will be placed under planned shutdown from 8 am to 4 pm on January 28, 29 & 30, 2026 .

As per release issued by MSPCL, the 33kV Iroisemba-Khuman (D/C mini-tower) HT Line will also be placed under planned shutdown from 8 am to 4 pm on January 31, February 1 & 2, 2026 .

Also, the 33 kV Khuman-Mantripukhri Line along with the 11 kV Ahallup Feeder will be under shutdown from 8 am to 4 pm, from January 28 to February 2, 2026 for the "replacement of existing panther conductor of 33kV Iroisemba-Khuman D/C mini tower line from Tower Loc no 57/0 to 63/0 with Covered (AAA) conductor as a part of reliability enhancement and safety improvement & reduction of fault incidence in the transmission system" .

During this period of shutdown, power supply to the consumers of 11 kV Ahallup Feeder will be affected and load shedding may be implemented to the consumers of 33/11 kV Khuman-Lampak Substation, 33/11 kV Kangla Substation, and 33/11 kV Keishampat Substation.

The MSPCL has expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to the public.
