Imphal, November 20 2025: The Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MCPCR) has expressed profound sorrow and condolence over the untimely demise of Mohammad Habibur Rahman (Habib), who served as a Member of the Commission.

He was 55 .

"Late Habibur Rahman's unwavering dedication, sincerity, and commitment towards safeguarding the rights and welfare of children in the State will always be remembered with deep respect", said MCPCR in a release.

Late Habibur Rahman, a resident of Irong Chesaba Mayai Leikai, Thoubal district, is survived by his wife Sheikh Hasinah Shah, and his daughters Husna Rahman and Hasifa Rahman.

The MCPCR extended its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that the departed soul may rest in eternal peace.
