Bishnupur, November 06 2026: Assam Rifles personnel operating from its Nambol base in Bishnupur district conducted a comprehensive outreach programme at Maibam Chingmang village, located within Bishnupur district today.

A press release by Assam Rifles said that the grassroots event served as a constructive interactive platform designed to address community concerns, facilitate local agricultural activities and support the aspirations of local youth while nurturing mutual trust and enduring cooperation with the local populace.

During the interactive session, villagers were sensitized about the prevailing security situation in Manipur, the imperative of maintaining peace and the collective effort needed for restoring lasting normalcy.

Special focus was directed toward facilitating unhindered harvesting activities to protect agricultural livelihoods.

Furthermore, residents were urged to remain cautious regarding misinformation and unauthorized social media content, ensuring stronger coordination with security personnel.

Assam Rifles also organized a dedicated medical camp simultaneously, offering free check-ups and essential medicines.
