Meeyamgi Numit held at Maram Centre Village

Senapati, February 28 2025:
Senapati district administration organised 'Meeyamgi Numit' of People's Day for the month of February at the Maram Centre Village community hall, Lairouching Sub-Division, on Friday.
The programme was held outside the district headquarters to reach those who are unable to visit offices so as to strengthen the bond between the government and the people by providing a direct platform for citizens to interact with government officials and access various government services without any obstacles.

Speaking on the occasion, Senapati DC Mamoni Doley informed that Meeyamgi Numit is organised to listen to the grievances of the public, raise awareness about various schemes under different departments and ensure the full implementation of all welfare schemes.
The DC urged SDOs and DLOs to effectively disseminate information about these schemes to the public.
During the programme, several items and services were distributed including five ration cards by the CAF & PD department, two Knapsack sprayers by the agricultural department, two PMJAY cards, three CMHT cards by Health department and various aids and assisted living devices to five individuals by the Social Welfare Department.
The event also focused on raising awareness about various schemes such as PMJAY, CMHT, PMAY-G, Ujjwala and PMMVY, as well as the activities of departments like medical, One Stop Centre, DRDA, DSWO, CAF & PD, Agriculture, ICDS, Election, Child Protection Unit, Handloom & Textiles and DYASO .
Over 600 individuals attended the programme to register forms and air their grievances.
Approximately 30 departmental stalls were set up, which were later inspected by the DC .
Additionally, free NCD screening for the public were provided by the medical department.
The district election officer (DEO), Senapati, also organised a SVEEP campaign, distributing Forms 6, 7 and 8.The event was attended by Senapati ADM Rang David Kung, CEO/ADC Adahrii Maheo, SDOs, DLOs, staff members and police personnel.
