Demanding immediate implementation of Inner Line Permit System (ILPS) in Manipur and reopening of all educational institutes, the Council of Teachers' Association (COTA) on Saturday organised a mass sit-in protest at Khamlangba Sanglen of Sagolband Moirang Leirak Machin in Imphal West.

The demonstrators used placards such as "Save Students," "Save Manipur," "We demand immediate finalisation of ILPS Issue" and "Teachers love students" .
Meanwhile, supporting the ongoing mass movement on ILPS issue, Independent Season Market Kangla Park on Saturday organised a sit-in protest at the market site.
