Imphal, November 20 2025: A grand opening ceremony of State Bank of India (SBI), New Secretariat Imphal Branch was held at Civil Secretariat, Mantripukhri.

The ceremony was organised by the SBI Regional Business Office (RBO), Imphal East.

The new branch was formally opened by N Ashokkumar, Commissioner (Finance), Government of Manipur, in the presence of Lokho Peter, Regional Manager, SBI RBO Imphal East; Khumukcham Okendra, Regional Manager, SBI RBO Imphal West; Rupachandra Thoudam, Chief Manager, SBI RBO Imphal East; and S Sanahal Sharma, Regional Secretary, SBIOA Imphal.

Notably, the New Secretariat Imphal Branch was virtually inaugurated by Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Minister of Finance & Corporate Affairs on November 14, 2025 .
