AMGSU observes Saraswati Puja across Manipur

Kanglatongbi, January 23 2026: The All Manipur Gorkha Students' Union (AMGSU) on Friday observed Saraswati Puja with devotion, enthusiasm and a spirit of cultural unity across its various units and Gorkha-inhabited villages throughout the State.

As per a release issued by the AMGSU, the occasion, dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the embodiment of knowledge, wisdom and learning, witnessed active participation from students, teachers and community members.

Puja programmes were organised by the AMGSU Central Committee and its units at Charhajare, SP, Leimakhong, Irang Pt-II Kalapahar, Toribari, Motbung, Kanglatongbi and Hatikhuwa Mandir.

The celebrations were marked by a simple yet spiritual observance, emphasising devotion, discipline and the promotion of education among students.

AMGSU extended its gratitude to all participating units, students and community members for making the observance a success.
