MLA Nemcha continues to aid non-ration cardholders

Kangpokpi, July 11 2021: To ensure no one in her constituency goes hungry while battling the dreaded COVID-19, Kangpokpi AC MLA Nemcha Kipgen continued to provide food grains to all non-ration cardholders in Tujang area of Champhai Sub-Division, on Sunday.

The local MLA distributed 5Kg of rice and 2kg of dal each to over one hundred non-ration cardholders in Tujang area while visiting a mass vaccination drive held at Paspati organised by COVID Task Force Tujang area in collaboration with the medical team under PHC Kalapahar.

She also provided refreshments and drinks to all beneficiaries who turned up for vaccination and on-duty medical staff and data operators.

Around 176 beneficiaries were vaccinated during the drive.

MLA Nemcha also visited a mass vaccination drive held at S Molnom village under Champhai Sub-Division in Kangpokpi district during which she provided refreshments and drinks to all the beneficiaries, on-duty medical personnel and data operators while asking all to get vaccinated at the earliest possible.

At the Paspati mass vaccination site, the MLA exhorted the people who came for vaccination to relay positive messages about the vaccination to their near and dear ones and neighbours in their respective villages and to motivate them to get the jab at the earliest.

Nemcha also handed over a huge quantity of protective gears including face masks to the COVID Task Force Tujang area for distribution among the people.

Meanwhile, under the initiative of local MLA, the COVID Task Force Tujang area embarked on a tree plantation drive in their jurisdiction and planted over 200 saplings.

All the seven COVID Task Forces of Kangpokpi AC will plant 200 each tree saplings in their respective areas under the initiative of the local MLA.
