Imphal, April 10 2025: A book titled "Laichatlongi Wareng Khara", a collection of prose penned by eminent playwright and cultural icon (late) Chana Lukhoi, was released on Thursday at Manipur Press Club to commemorate his 75th birth anniversary.

The event was attended by Art and Culture director K Dinamani, Lukhoi Art Centre president Chana Lembi and Public Library, Mayang Imphal vice president Ningthoukhongjam Sundari as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Speaking at the programme, OC Meira, son of the late playwright, informed that the book comprises 30 selected articles written by his father.

He expressed hope that the publication would serve as a valuable resource, particularly in the context of the Sanamahi faith.
