SOREPA Chairman shares thoughts on raising day-I
Source: The Sangai Express

Imphal, September 30 2024: Socialist Revolutionary Party (SOREPA), Kangleipak Chairman Toijam Ibochouba has shared his thoughts and ideas on different issues and challenges on the occasion of the outfit's raising day (October 1) .

Greeting all the people, Toijam Ibochouba, on behalf of SOREPA, paid rich tributes to all the martyrs who have laid their lives in the course of the liberation movement of Kangleipak/Manipur.

SOREPA also pays deepest respect to all the civilians who have been killed in the course of the liberation movement, the outfit said in a statement issued by Chairman Toijam Ibochouba.

It also conveyed best wishes to all fraternal revolutionary organisations of Kangleipak/Manipur and WESEA.

The statement asserted that the Nation making process is a continuous one and it cannot be put to an end at any point of time.

History is witness to how several Nations which had histories spanning over thousands of years became slaves or subservient or breaking apart into multiple States/Nations when they could not evolve or consolidate their strengths, it said.

When there are contradictions among the four fundamental elements of an independent Nation viz history, economy, culture and politics, the Nation can be destroyed to its core.

All these four elements must be equally strong and vibrant.

If any of these elements collapses, the others will break down soon.

It is the combination of these four elements which makes a living organic State.

"We must understand these four elements and march forward on the path of the liberation movement", Ibochouba said.

"It is our history, economy, culture and politics which will give us strength to fight the current aggression of the combined force of India and Chin-Kuki mercenaries", he added.

In their pursuit of Akhanda Bharat, Indian armed forces have been using Chin-Kuki mercenaries, and together they have been waging a war to disintegrate Kangleipak/Manipur.

Their goal is not limited to disintegration of Manipur but extends to Myanmar and Bangladesh too so as to expand Indian imperialism to these neighbouring countries, it alleged.

It is a long cherished vision of India's 'deep State' and India is now using new Khongjais (Chin-Kuki) to realise the dream of a much bigger India (Akhanda Bharat) .

India is currently waging a proxy war using Chin-Kuki mercenaries in South East Asia, the SOREPA Chairman alleged.

He further alleged that India's proxy war is a colonial aggression aimed at colonising the entire South East Asia.

In collusion with Chin-Kuki drug cartels, India has been waging a proxy war to break down Chin and Sagaing States of Myanmar and bring these areas together with the Chin-Kuki inhabited areas of Bangladesh bordering India under Indian control, read the statement.

In order to realise this goal, India trained Chin-Kuki mercenaries on bombing from drones, manufacturing and firing of long range rockets, it alleged.

It went on to allege that the Government of India and foreign mercenaries have been openly committing genocide and crime against humanity in Manipur.

It asserted that the UN needs to initiate necessary process to punish India and Chin-Kuki mercenaries for committing genocide and crime against humanity in Manipur and also to restore the independence of Manipur by keeping its territorial integrity intact.

The people of Kangleipak/Manipur know very well that the Indian armed forces are here not to protect civilians but eliminate them, it alleged.

Saying that the people of Manipur/Kangleipak do not have any trust in the Indian armed forces, the SOREPA Chairman asserted that it's time for the UN to send neutral forces to protect the people of Kangleipak/Manipur.

As the offensive of India and Chin-Kuki mercenaries is also threatening the integrity and sovereignty of both Myanmar and Bangladesh, the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN), particularly Myanmar and Bangladesh need to take up strong political actions against India.

ASEAN and its member countries need to fight back India's interference in the sovereignty of South and South East Asian countries, he said.

The alliance formed between India and Chin-Kuki is a huge challenge for the entire WESEA.

Their challenge is not limited to Kangleipak/Manipur.

It also challenges all the liberation movements of WESEA, he continued.

Toijam Ibochouba then appealed to all revolutionary organisations of WESEA to come together and work out a collective strategy to drive out Indian armed forces and Chin-Kuki mercenaries from the region.

The recent aggression launched by India using Chin-Kuki reactionaries is a very crucial phase in the 70 years of armed liberation movements witnessed in WESEA, he said.

This is not a communal clash but it is a war aimed at consolidating Indian occupation of WESEA, he alleged.

The ongoing aggression of Chin-Kuki mercenaries and reactionaries, supported by India, is aimed at crushing all revolutionary movements in WESEA.

By giving training to Chin-Kuki mercenaries on different strategies of war, manufacturing rockets/missiles and providing sophisticated weapons including drones to bomb civil population, the Government of India has been using the Chin-Kuki mercenaries to commit genocide in Manipur.

It will do well for India to keep in mind that the people of Kangleipak/Manipur will vote for Right to Self Determination with overwhelming majority if any referendum is held under the supervision of the UN under the current situation, he said.
