The daily relaxation of shops and public transport should stand at 5am to 2pm, said a JAC statement issued to the press today.
They have also called on womenfolk working to maintain peaceful environment and staging dharna to carry on with their efforts without disturbing the tranquillity in the district.
The JAC said that it will not take responsibility for any violent/arson arising without their consent even as it appealed one and all to continue their support to them and to restrain themselves from calling bandh and strike without the JAC's knowledge.
Meanwhile, prayer services were conducted across the district in Churches and streets corners.
As the prayer services conclude womenfolk resumed sit-ins at their own localities and check vehicular movement.
The streets here wore a deserted look the entire day.
