AR conducts career guidance programme

Imphal, April 06 2025: Assam Rifles in collaboration with Hope Hall Defence Academy, Churachandpur, organized a career guidance program on commissioned service in the Indian Army and the Agniveer scheme at Raybum College, Churachandpur District, Manipur.

According to a release issued by the IGAR (South), the objective of the program was to familiarize students with career opportunities in the Indian Anny as commissioned officers, as well as to provide information on various entry schemes.

The event witnessed the participation of 120 cadets and students from the 14th Manipur NCC Battalion, Raybum College and Don Bosco College, all from Churachandpur District.

The program included the screening of motivational videos along with a detailed briefing on the Agniveer Scheme for enrollment into the Indian Army.

Furthermore, information kiosks were established to assist students with the registration process for the Agniveer Scheme.

The participants felt motivated to join the Indian Army and thanked Assam Rifles officials for the initiative.
