Kangpokpi Forest Division organises foot rally and awareness programme

Imphal, October 01 2025: In a run-up to the State Wildlife Week Celebration 2025, the Kangpokpi Forest Division organized a Foot Rally and Awareness Programme under the theme "Human-Animal Co-Existence" on October 1, 2025 .

The rally witnessed active participation from children of Gopibung UJB School and youths of Gopibung Village.

It commenced from the SDO Champhai Office and concluded at Gopibung Village, drawing attention to the importance of wildlife protection and harmonious co-existence between humans and animals.

Following the rally, an awareness program was also conducted at the school, where Divisional Forest Officer Kangpokpi; Amandeep highlighted the importance of wildlife conservation and emphasized the crucial role of villagers in safeguarding wildlife habitats.

During the program, participants, including the village chief, youths, and school children, took a pledge to protect wildlife and conserve their natural surroundings.
