Imphal, April 01 2025: The first foundation day cum annual prize distribution day of Maichou Khongnangthaba Maheikol was held at the premises of the institution at Singjamei Makha Kakwa Asem Leikai.

The event was also accompanied by a book release function.

The function kicked off with the offering of floral tribute to the portraits of the seven Maichou and hoisting of the school flag.

Notable dignitaries present at the event include Dr Laishram Deben, JNIMS former Director as the chief guest and Dr Nongmeikapam Anita Devi, Associate Professor, YK College, Wangjing as the guest of honour.

Sanasam Basanta Meitei's "Fundamentals of Mathematics" was also released on the occasion.
