Imphal, August 21 2025: The Manipur State Shumang Leela Council has expressed profound sorrow and condolence over the untimely demise of noted Shumang Leela actor Huidrom Chandras Meitei.

Today, the council organised a condolence meeting at the residence of the late actor in Awang Potshangbam Khunou (Keikol).

The meeting was attended by Manipur State Shumang Leela Council lifetime president Ph Gunachandra Sharma, president Laishram Tomba, lifetime general secretary Sh Hemanta and Manipur State Cooperative Union president Longjam Tompishak along with artists of Nupa Leela/Nupi Leela, members of the council and family members.

The gathering paid their respect to the late actor by offering floral tributes and singing 'Shumang Leela' songs.
