UCO launches cleanliness cum eviction drive

Thoubal, May 19 2024: In the general interest of the public, United Clubs Organisation (UCO) Kakching, an apex body of six clubs from Kakching Wairi, launched a drain cleaning cum eviction drive today.

The initiative was carried put under the supervision of District Administration Kakching.

Speaking in this connection, Moirangthem Brojen, president, UCO stated that during rains, a majority of the water in Kakching area drains in the direction of Kakching Wairi, making it pertinent to keep the drains in this region in perfect shape.

He also sought the public's support while stating that the intitiative was launched without any Government funding.
